I am a Social Work intern, currently pursuing my Masters of Social Work at the University of Denver. As a therapist, it is my goal to help you facilitate growth and self-compassion through a systems-based, identity-affirming approach.
As a member of the queer and disabled communities, I personally understand that each individual is complex and multi-faceted. Each and every one of us face unique barriers, which can impact our quality of life and mental health. I aim to offer a supportive space for exploring, processing, and sitting with difficult emotions. Together, we will move towards acceptance of these barriers, allowing us to identify and work towards practical solutions.
In my practice, I utilize skills from a variety of different modalities, including DBT, ACT, IFS, and expressive arts, balancing self-reflection with concrete strategies to support your mental health journey.
In addition to my lived experience, I have professional experience working with individuals living with physical and cognitive disabilities, as well as queer youth. While I bring my personal background into our work, I also view you as the expert in your own life. Therapy with me is collaborative, understanding, and guided by your personal goals.
