Hello- I am an intern at Resilient Future Counseling as part of my Master’s of Social Work program at Denver University. With a background in case management, I have expertise in working with older adults and caregivers, individuals navigating ADHD, intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), medical diagnosis transitions, and neurodivergence. I am passionate about working with people experiencing life disrupting symptoms of: anxiety, depression, trauma, major life transitions, and navigating life as neurodivergent individuals.
I believe in helping people strengthen and build healthy relationships, and work to create a supportive, non-judgmental, client-centered space where you will feel empowered to explore and discover strengths and solutions that reinforce your goals. Each person I work with is the expert of their own story, and my role is to help them discover what works best for them. I incorporate strengths-based, relational approaches, using motivational interviewing and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) techniques.
In my personal time, I love spending time with friends and family, exploring nature, practicing yoga, and pursuing photography. I’ve also skydived several times and am currently working towards earning my A license to skydive independently!
