Ava's Profile

Hi, my name is Ava, and I’m excited to be partnering with Resilient Future Counseling! At Colorado State University, I earned my bachelor’s degree in Zoology, and completed a second bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing in May 2026. I am thrilled to bring my skills and experience to the Resilient Future Counseling team.

My long term goal is to build a career that allows me to make a meaningful impact on society. I’m interested in pursuing an MSW in the future, with an emphasis on nonprofit management and human–animal interaction. At the same time, I recognize that my path may evolve. Right now, my priority is to learn as much as possible, challenge myself, and engage in self exploration so I can better understand where my strengths and passions align professionally. 

I'm currently a Puppy Raiser for Canine Companions, a nonprofit organization that provides service dogs to individuals with disabilities for free. As a Puppy Raiser, my role is to help develop a confident, well-mannered dog by attending training classes and teaching up to 40 foundational cues. Outside of school and puppy raising, I enjoy staying active at the gym, grabbing coffee with friends, journaling, and learning new songs on my ukulele!
