A 4-week series that is open to any adult who identifies as HSP (self-test can be found at http://hsperson.com/test/). Topics addressed in this group include: providing support to help understand HSP traits, building awareness around how those traits may affect day-to-day life, learning coping skills for yourself or others you care about, and connecting with others who may be similar to you or in similar situations.

This structured DBT-informed skills group teaches strategies from mindfulness and acceptance-based therapies, and is an excellent fit for anyone feeling anxious, depressed, overwhelmed or simply having difficulty enjoying life. Skills are taught to be more present, self-compassionate, and able to handle intense emotions effectively. Group sessions will include learning information as well as exercises to practice skills. Group is an eight-week commitment. After the completion of the group, members will have a toolkit of skills to pull from whenever difficult life circumstances arise.

Our Advanced DBT group is a space for adults who have previous experience with DBT to gain support in continuing to use their DBT skills in their daily lives. Group will include mindfulness exercises each week and discussion to broaden interpersonal and emotion regulation skills. We will explore how to apply DBT skills to daily life, increase effectiveness of skills, and how to apply the skills in specific situations.

This group will provide a supportive space to explore your emotions, connect with others, and practice new behaviors that can ultimately lead to more fulfilling relationships. You’ll get a unique opportunity to receive multiple perspectives, support, encouragement, and feedback from other individuals in a safe and confidential environment. These interpersonal interactions can provide an opportunity to increase self-awareness and build insight into how they relate to others.

In this group participants will be led through resourcing exercises to help with daily living as well as trauma treatment. Relevant for those preparing for EMDR treatment as well as those with experience in EMDR treatment. Discussion in this group will be brief and limited to experience with the exercise for the week. The majority of the group session will be experiential practice with internal resources. We will add Bilateral Stimulation to strengthen neuron connections and make resources more accessible and easier to utilize in day-to-day life. Resources we will focus on are: safe/calm place, ally, container, and compassion.
